Drafting Tracks
Atlanta now behaves closer to Daytona and Talladega than a normal intermediate. Think survival, deep-start leverage, and ownership risk.

Learn how each track tends to shape optimal NASCAR DFS lineups before you build. Get comparable-track context and broad dominator and volatility profiles from the historical data.
Some tracks reward similar DFS builds. Start here when you want to know which history is actually worth comparing.

Kansas and Las Vegas are the cleanest sister-track pair, with Charlotte, Texas, and Michigan adding useful context when the surface and tire profile line up.
These tracks punish lazy comparisons. Surface, tire falloff, and changing grooves can matter more than raw track length.
Phoenix is the starting point for Iowa and Gateway, while Richmond and Martinsville add braking, track-position, and tire-wear context.
Not all road courses build the same. Separate high-speed tracks, technical sections, flat layouts, and street-course volatility before comparing results.
Pocono and Indianapolis oval are the cleanest pair. Michigan can help with speed and aero context, but it is not a one-for-one match.
Quick reads for the tracks where comparable history and lineup construction can change how you build.
superspeedway
Daytona is a drafting slate where survival, leverage, and duplicated-lineup risk dominate the build.
Keep Daytona oval data separate from the short-lived road-course event.
concrete oval
Dover's concrete one-mile profile has become more Nashville-adjacent in the Next Gen era than many players expect.
Treat Dover as more than Bristol-lite when you review DFS construction.
1.5-mile oval
Kansas is one of the cleanest intermediate benchmarks and pairs especially well with Las Vegas history.
Still check Kansas-specific optimals before relying on a blanket 1.5-mile assumption.
1.5-mile oval
Nashville has a concrete intermediate identity where Dover context can matter more than most players expect.
The Cup sample is still limited, so comparable-track context matters.
short flat track
Phoenix is the short-flat baseline for several tracks, but team incentives can change when it is the championship race.
Spring Phoenix and championship Phoenix deserve separate context.
road course
Post-repave Sonoma lines up better with technical road-course sections than old Sonoma history alone.
The repave changes how much weight old Sonoma deserves in projections.
